SUMMARY:Exploratory Linear Line Texture with Various Pencils
DESCRIPTION:Exploratory Linear Line Texture with Various Pencils \nIn this exploratory session\, you will be applying the technique of linear line and texture drawing\, while using various drawing pencils that are soft and hard leads. We’ll practice this technique by creating examples that will get you comfortable with creating lines for various textures. This technique is very useful for adding energy and texture to your picture\, as well the incorporation of direction of line\, thickness\, patterns and even symbols. If you would like you can bring a black and white photo image and a simple contour line drawing with which to create an artwork\, please do. (Black and white photos can help you to see values and lights to darks and textures.) If you choose to start to create an artwork\, please print-out this photo ahead of time\, which you will be using as a reference while creating your image.\n*Note we will only be able to start your artwork which you can finish at your own convenience with the learned techniques. Or you can also continue to work on any of your artwork at any of the Open Art nights. Please contact Vandy Leigh at Creative Community Space and inquire about Open Art nights\, where artists will be there to help you with any technique. \nBasic drawing skills are helpful for this class.
