DESCRIPTION:  \n    Use link below to see a show in action! \nhttps://1drv.ms/u/s!Aov58pRrirPiiCVlt0RRbbCfNOSh \nShadow Puppets & Crankies with Puppeteer Eric Weiss.  Grades 3 and up.  9AM – 12PM\,  for one week\, August 10 – 14 \nThis class is a puppetry class about the use of light and darkness (shadows)\, color\, and movement to create a different kind of puppet show.  Students will learn different shadow puppet styles to make movements using paper\, fasteners\, wood\, skewers\, punches\, and stencils. \nIn the week-long program\, after we learn the basics we will build a “Crankie.” A Crankie is a storytelling box with a moving screen that truly comes to life with the addition of shadow puppets.  The students can then create their very own show and theater using the skills they learned. \nThis is a 5 day class for 3 hours/day for $100. \nThere is an additional materials fee of $40.00. Materials will be shipped to you in a box before the class.  Open to students 3rd grade and up. \nSIGN UP DEADLINE: Tuesday\, July 28th –  To sign up after this time please contact Creative Community Space \nTo Sign Up: Email CreativeCommunitySpace@gmail.com and specify which class you would like to sign up for and we will email you the registration form and payment instructions. Come see what you can create from this special ingredient of dirt! \nThis camp is for students who will be in grades 7 – 9 in the fall or age equivalent. \nClay and pottery is one of the oldest known art forms.  Come learn the basics of pinch\, coil\, slab and scoop. You’ll create a small “piggy” bank (or other creature)\, pinch pot or bowl\, coil vase or mug and a vase from a rolled slab.  You’ll also learn how to glaze your ceramic piece so that it is a real piece of pottery. \nThis is a 1 week camp for 2 hours a day for $150 and $10.00 material fee.
