SUMMARY:The Magic 3! Hand-building 101
DESCRIPTION:Have you always wanted to work with clay? Hand-building (no wheel) is a great way to get started.  With the Magic 3 you can build just about anything!  Come learn how to make a basic\, pinched form\, coiled form\, and slab form.  This is a 3 hour workshop for Adults and High School age students.  No experience necessary\, just good humor and the willingness to get your hands dirty!  See registration form\, materials fee\, and cost in “Details” below. (If you are under 18 please email for a “minor” registration form)  If you have questions please email us. \n \nClass Fee: $40.00 for 3 hours \nIncluded in your Material Fee: 2 pounds of clay (additional clay can be purchased for $7.00/pound) \n1st firing to make your clay into bisque \nTotal cost for class: $54.00 \nReturn:   Check the CCS calendar and come on back for a “Glaze Day” to paint your piece with glaze. \n  \nYou pay the Glaze Day fee.  We fire your piece again to make it a functional ceramic piece. \nor Pick up your piece and paint it at home with acrylic paints as a decorative piece. \nRegistration Deadline:  August 15th. \nCancelation through August 15th for a full refund. \nCancelation on August 16th or after get a credit for a future class or workshop. \n  \nCovid related information: We will be meeting in the Art Barn with the door open for fresh air flow. \nDuring classes and Open Art at Creative Community Space masks are highly recommended.
