SUMMARY:HomeSchool Introduction to Drawing!
DESCRIPTION:This Intro to Drawing class will bring students from “seeing” things to learning to “look.” Drawing does not depend on “talent” but on skill.  Students will learn the skills to construct what they see\, then use the techniques of shading and texture to create a finished drawing.  With practice\, students will be able to draw on their own and build their skills until they can capture the essence of their subject. We will be drawing animals from sketch to finished drawing. \nThis class meets on Tuesdays: Nov. 03\, 10\, 17\, 24  Dec. 1\, & 8 from 11:00 – 12:00. If this day or time doesn’t work for you\, please email us to discuss creating another drawing class or another class specific to your family’s interests. \nThis class is for grades 1 – 6 or age equivalent. Older students are welcome if they are at the intro level. \nWe are an EFA Vendor.  Please email for registration instructions if you will be using EFA funding: CreativeCommunitySpace@gmail.com \nRegistration Deadline: October 27th. \nAs always\, if the deadline has passed\, email us for class space availability. \nClass cost is $132.00 for 6 weeks. There is a $15.00 materials fee.                                                          *Students will receive a set of drawing pencils to take home and keep for their continued drawing pleasure. \nParents sometimes worry that drawing won’t hold their child’s interest for 6 weeks.  I have never found this to be a problem; often\, they wish they had more time! \nWhat can parents do while students are in class?  Feel free\, in good weather\, \nto picnic in our yard. Market Basket is only a 5-minute drive. The Brickyard Mall has restaurants\, Michaels\, Marshalls\, Old Navy\, Pet Smart\, and others.  Starbucks is 3 minutes from the Art Center\, as is Walmart and Lowes.  The Library is 2 minutes away on Main Street! \n\n		\n		\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n		\n\n

SUMMARY:Santa's Clay Workshop!!!
DESCRIPTION:The holidays are quickly approaching\, and if you would like to make ceramic gifts\, you need to do it during the month of November to ensure that they are ready for the gift-giving season. We will be offering clay night during 3 Open Art in November.  Don’t wait till the last minute.  Ceramic ornaments are just one option; they make great gifts and are easy to make.  Make this a hand-made holiday! \nDrop-in and create.  This is an Open Art session with clay. Basic clay instruction on clay hand-building and tool usage will be provided. (Sorry\, no wheels)  Your studio fee is $15.00; 1 pound of clay is $5.50 – additional clay can be purchased for $5.50/ pound.  The clay fee includes the first firing in the kiln (bisque fire).  Later\, come to a Glaze Night. Your studio fee is $15.00 on this day. Your glaze fee will be $5.50 for each pound of clay used. Your piece will be glaze-fired in the kiln to create your functional ceramic piece.  Seating is limited\, so don’t wait till the last minute.  First come/first served for spaces.  Cash is preferred\, but cards are accepted.   You can come and glaze your clay items on 11/10 and 12/09 & 12/16 \n\n		\n		\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n				\n				slab and coil
