DESCRIPTION:This day is a Make-Up Day for missed day on 1/7/2025 \nCurrent students have already paid for this meeting with their Session 4 tuition \nCome create your way!  Middle School Art Club is a social art group that is full of choice!  Students are shown tools and techniques and given some examples of the ways they are used and can then explore their own creativity.  The group is also shown examples of how art is powerful!  This feeds their creative self-esteem as they create for self-expression. \nPlease reach out if you have questions about this group!  CreativeCommunitySpace@gmail.com \nStudents walk down from the Epping Middle School on their own- to arrive at the Art Center around 2:30.  (Vandy will walk them down the first time – and again if requested) \nStudents from districts other than Epping should be dropped off by 2:40. \nThis is a new group. DESCRIPTION:Come and meet other art enthusiasts!   We will experiment with new skills and materials and make projects that express who we are with lots of fun in the mix! \nArt Club for grades 1 & 2 or age equivalent. (Kindergarten students can join in January – see bottom of the page) We will meet Wednesdays from 3:15 – 4:15.  Epping Elemenary students will be picked up and walked down from school by CCS Staff. SUMMARY:Open Art - Clay Night!
DESCRIPTION:Drop-in and create.  This is an Open Art session with clay. These sessions are available twice a month for a $12.50 fee each night.  Basic clay instruction on clay hand-building and tool usage will be provided. (sorry no wheels)  Your fee is your studio fee\, clay can be purchased for $3.50/ pound.  The clay fee includes the first firing in the kiln (bisque fire).  Later come to a Glaze Day. You pay a studio fee of $12.50. Your glaze fee is $3.50/pound of clay used. On this day your glaze fee will include glaze and glaze firing in the kiln to create your functional ceramic piece. This is drop-in first\, come/first serve for spaces.  Cash is preferred but cards are accepted. \n*********WE NOW HAVE CLAY NIGHT 2 WEEKS IN A ROW SO YOU HAVE MORE TIME TO WORK ON A PROJECT!!! \nThis is an All Ages Event \n*prices increase October 1st from $12.00 studio fee to $12.50 and $3.00/pound of clay to $3.50 \n*Open Art is Free to Members of Creative Community Space\, they only pay the $3.50 materials fee/pound on clay and glaze nights- see our website for membership details. \nAs winter illnesses develop Masks are optional\, this is a no-judgment zone! \n

SUMMARY:Puppet Workshop - It's Alive!
DESCRIPTION:“It’s Alive!” (Stuffed Animal Puppets): (Grades 3 & up\, 2-2.5 Hrs.) \nWhat would happen if Dr. Frankenstein was let loose in a toy shop?  Now I know what you are thinking\, my child will be devastated and traumatized if we cut their favorite stuffed animal apart to create a puppet!  Relax my friends\, I will supply an array of cleaned\, used stuffed animals to dissect.  This class is a great and unique way to teach students about hand puppets.  In this class each student will begin with a stuffed animal\, which we will then proceed to turn into a hand puppet by opening it up\, learning to pattern its mouth\, and constructing & installing a mouth plate.  Miraculously this will animate a formerly inanimate object\, turning it from a mere toy\, into a puppet. Vandy will pick students up at Epping Elementary School and walk them down.  Students from other school districts should arrive by 3:35. \n \nREGISTRATION DEADLINE EXTENDED: Register by 11:59 pm on Wednesday\, November 6th.

Non-walker information below. \nNEW * NEW * NEW  \nRegistration is for 4 classes = a session                                         \nOR \nRegister for the semester and receive a discount \n– be sure to check the calendar to know when we are meeting.  \nIf you are registering by session\, you must renew your registration monthly by emailig Vandy at CreativeCommunitySpace@gmail.com or speaking to her directly  on or before the 2nd day of the current session. \nCost is $72/4week session\, materials fee may be required depending on projects chosen by the group. \nCost for Semester  1 = $272.00 \nCost for Semester 2 = $306.00 (2 more days than Semester 1) \nEpping students will be picked up at school and walked down to the Arts Center by the Creative Community Space group leader.  Students should bring a snack to eat before we begin Art Club activities. Homeschooled students or students coming from other school districts should arrive at Creative Community Space by 3:40 (and eat a snack before they come) \nYou will find the registration form at the link below.  Upon receiving your registration & payment for an Epping Elementary Student we will email you a “Walkers’ Release”  before your first session that will allow us to pick your child up at school. \n*Please note:  We generally follow the SAU 14 school calendar. \nRegistration Deadline: ADVANCED REGISTRATION FOR FALL IS HIGHLY ENCOURAGED. DESCRIPTION:Are you most creative late at night? Come to Open Art Late Night!  The normal Open Art (glaze night) runs from 7-9 PM on this night\, this is drop-in.  Late night will run from 9 PM – 2AM!  You must pre-register for this event by emailing CreativeCommunitySpace@gmail.com  Subject line: Late Night.  We will have all of our regular supplies available. Bring your own project or start something new.  Bring a snack to share!!!  Cost for Late night is $15.00.  additional charge for clay if available. DESCRIPTION:Did you make ceramics at a Creative Community Space class or event?  Come on this evening to paint on your glaze so we can fire it again and make it a functional ceramic piece for you.  You pay a $12.50 studio fee. Glaze is then $3.50/ pound of clay used. This includes your second firing to make your creation a functional ceramic piece. \nThis is an All Ages event. SUMMARY:Open Art - Clay Night!
DESCRIPTION:Drop-in and create.  This is an Open Art session with clay. These sessions are available twice a month for a $12.50 fee each night.  Basic clay instruction on clay hand-building and tool usage will be provided. (sorry no wheels)  Your fee is your studio fee\, clay can be purchased for $3.50/ pound.  The clay fee includes the first firing in the kiln (bisque fire).  Later come to a Glaze Day. You pay a studio fee of $12.50. Your glaze fee is $3.50/pound of clay used. On this day your glaze fee will include glaze and glaze firing in the kiln to create your functional ceramic piece.
