SUMMARY:Open Art - Clay
DESCRIPTION:Drop-in and create.  This is an Open Art session with clay. These sessions are available once a month.  Basic clay instruction on clay hand-building and tool usage will be provided. (sorry no wheels)  Your fee includes 1 pound of clay – additional clay can be purchased for $3.00/ pound.  The fee includes the first firing in the kiln (bisque fire).  Later come to a Glaze Day. Your fee on this day will include glaze and glaze firing in the kiln to create your functional ceramic piece. We’ll make some characters\, learn how to roll patterns and make boxes for our treasures!  This is a 4 day camp over two weeks (clay needs time to dry and be fired in the kiln so we can glaze it and fire it again!)  The first Tuesday & Thursday we will make our clay items. We’ll make some characters\, learn how to roll patterns and make boxes for our treasures!  This is a 4 day camp over two weeks (clay needs time to dry and be fired in the kiln so we can glaze it and fire it again!)  The first Tuesday & Thursday we will make our clay items.
