Are you confused by all the different types of paintings and styles that are out there? Do you wonder which one is for you? Or are you like me and you just want to try them all? If so\, this art club is for you! We will play with a variety of art techniques in a fun\, friendly and relaxing class experience. This is a no pressure art zone. \nNo experience is necessary though curious practicing artists are also welcome. \nMonthly themes will include beginner drawing\, acrylic painting\, watercolor techniques\, using pastels\, painting basics\, digital art\, mixed media\, etc.  We will discuss our monthly themes and will decide as a group what our next month will focus on. Rest assured\, there is no shortage of topics for our monthly themes! \nWhat will you get from participating in this art club? Fun\, relaxing art time with a group of like-minded locals. DESCRIPTION:                               \nDrop-in and create.  This is an Open Art session with clay. These sessions are available once a month for a $12.00 fee.  Basic clay instruction on clay hand-building and tool usage will be provided. (sorry no wheels)  Your fee is your studio fee\, clay can be purchased for $3.00/ pound.  The clay fee includes the first firing in the kiln (bisque fire).  Later come to a Glaze Day. You pay a studio fee of $12.00. Your glaze fee is $3.00/pound of clay used. On this day your glaze fee will include glaze and glaze firing in the kiln to create your functional ceramic piece. This is a no pressure art zone. \nNo experience is necessary though curious practicing artists are also welcome. \nMonthly themes will include beginner drawing\, acrylic painting\, watercolor techniques\, using pastels\, painting basics\, digital art\, mixed media\, etc.  We will discuss our monthly themes and will decide as a group what our next month will focus on. DESCRIPTION:Create your own special glass art with colorful glass (all materials included). \nYou will learn the basics of fused glass colorwork and with the supplied materials arrange bits of glass on a 3”x3” base. \nNo previous experience or skills needed.  I provide stencils to draw designs or you can create your own design. \nThe pieces will be fired after class and ready for pickup a week later. \nWe need 6 people to run this workshop. \nBring a friend and save $5 each! \nRegistration due by 3/21\, cancellation by 3/21. \nQuestions? DESCRIPTION:                      \n\n\n$96.00 for 4 weeks   \n\n\n\nCome meet other art enthusiasts!   We will experiment with new skills and materials and make projects that express who we are! \nArt Club for grades 3 -5 or age equivalent\, will meet Mondays from 3:15 – 5:00.  Registration is for 4 weeks of classes – be sure to check the calendar to know when we are meeting. \nYou must renew your registration monthly by emailing Vandy at CreativeCommunitySpace@gmail.com or speaking to her directly on or before the third day of the current session.  Cost is $96.00/4-week session\, materials fee may be required depending on projects chosen by the group. \nEpping students will be picked up at school and walked down to the Arts Center by the Creative Community Space group leader.  Students should bring a snack to eat before we begin Art Club activities. Homeschooled students or students coming from other school districts should arrive at Creative Community Space by 3:40 (and eat a snack before they come) \nYou will find the registration form at the link below.  Upon receiving your registration & payment for an Epping Elementary Student we will email you a “Walkers’ Release”  before your first session that will allow us to pick your child up at school. \n*Please note   We generally follow the SAU 14 school calendar for days off/snow days. \nRegistration Deadline: ADVANCED REGISTRATION FOR FEBRUARY IS HIGHLY ENCOURAGED.   Please invite your child/youth’s friend to join Art Club. \nCancelation Policy:  Advanced registration can be refunded in full by Jan. 29\, 2024 for the 1st Art Club session of the new year.  Credit is given for a future activity or art club if cancelation is on or after Jan 29th.
