SUMMARY:Deluxe Sock Puppets!!!
DESCRIPTION:Deluxe Sock Puppets: \n                                 \nDeluxe Sock Puppets: (Age 8 and up) \nThis is an advanced sock puppet class.  This class begins with an introduction to puppetry and creating a puppet character\, as well as all of the elements needed to do so.  Then students will learn to build a mouth plate and by using this plate as well as some foam for a “skull”\, they will give their sock puppets a wonderful shape and much greater range of motion and movement than an average sock puppet.  Students will then proceed to create their characters and build their puppets. \nThis is a wildly popular class and space is limited so register early! \nStudents from Epping Elementary School will be picked up after school and walked down to the Art Center. \nStudents driving from other areas need to arrive by 3:30 for this special workshop. \nWe need at least 6 students to run this class – please tell your children’s friends! \nRegistration deadline  EXTENDED April 1st! SUMMARY:Open Art - Clay Night Make UP!
DESCRIPTION:We will have Clay Night Tonight as we missed one last week. \nDrop-in and create.  This is an Open Art session with clay. These sessions are available twice a month for a $12.50 studio  fee each night.  Basic clay instruction on clay hand-building and tool usage will be provided. (sorry no wheels)  Your fee is your studio fee\, clay can be purchased for $3.50/ pound.  The clay fee includes the first firing in the kiln (bisque fire).  Later come to a Glaze Night. You pay a studio fee of $12.50. Your glaze fee is $3.50/pound of clay used. On this day your glaze fee will include glaze and glaze firing in the kiln to create your functional ceramic piece. SUMMARY:K\, 1 & 2 Art Club!
DESCRIPTION:We need 5 students to start this Art Club. \nCome meet other art enthusiasts!   We will experiment with new skills and materials and make projects that express who we are! \nArt Club for grades K\, 1 & 2 or age equivalent. We will meet Thursdays from 3:15 – 4:15.
