DESCRIPTION:Come have fun exploring new art materials and techniques! Meet other young artists and find your favorite mediums.  We will paint\, sculpt\, draw\, make 3 dimensional art\, prints\, and mixed media pieces. Come see what you can do! \nArt Club for grades 3 -5 or age equivalent\, will meet Mondays from 3:15 – 5:00.  Registration is for 4 weeks of classes which is a “session.” \nYou may also sign up for a “semester\,”/ half year\, and receive a discount. \nIf you are registering for one session at a time you must renew your registration monthly by emailing Vandy at CreativeCommunitySpace@gmail.com or speaking to her directly on or before the third day of the current session so your child’s spot isn’t filled by someone else. \nEpping students will be picked up at school and walked down to the Arts Center by the Creative Community Space group leader.  Students should bring a snack to eat before we begin Art Club activities. Homeschooled students or students coming from other school districts should arrive at Creative Community Space by 3:40 (and eat a snack before they come) \nYou will find the registration form at the link below.  Upon receiving your registration & payment for an Epping Elementary Student we will email you a “Walkers’ Release”  before your first session that will allow us to pick your child up at school. \n*Please note   We follow the Epping SAU 14 school calendar for days off/snow days. \nThere will be 1 make-up day offered/semester for Art Club days that may have been missed due to snow/school cancellation or teacher illness. \nAll dates that we meet are listed here. DESCRIPTION:Come make some 3D sculpture! Many people think about Art in terms of drawing and painting\, but Art that is 3 dimensional is a lot of fun to make.  We will begin with basic Origami shapes to learn about symmetry\, unity\, and balance. In week 2\, we will make an assemblage using found items. In week 3\, we will make abstract foam sculptures. In weeks 4 & 5\, we will create freeform sculpture with items of choice added to a base\, and finish any outstanding projects. \n  \nWe are an EFA Vendor and take ClassWallet \nPlease email to express interest before registering if you are an EFA family. \nThis 5-week class will run for 1 hour each week from 11-12:00 \nDates: January 20 & 27\, February 3\, 10 & 17. \nGrades 2 – up or age equivalent. DESCRIPTION:Drop-in and create.  This is an Open Art session with clay. These sessions are available twice a month for a $14.00 studio  fee each night.  Basic clay instruction on clay hand-building and tool usage will be provided. (sorry no wheels)  Your fee is your studio fee\, clay can be purchased for $5.00/ pound.  The clay fee includes the first firing in the kiln (bisque fire).  Later come to a Glaze Night. You pay a studio fee of $14.00. Your glaze fee is $5.00/pound of clay used. On this day your glaze fee will include glaze and glaze firing in the kiln to create your functional ceramic piece.
