SUMMARY:1st and 2nd grade Art Club!!!
DESCRIPTION:Come meet other art enthusiasts!   We will experiment with new skills and materials and make projects that express who we are! \nArt Club for grades 1 & 2 or age equivalent. (Kindergarten students can join in January – see bottom of the page) We will meet Wednesdays from 3:15 – 4:15. Registration is for 3 classes – be sure to check the calendar to know when we are meeting.  \n You must renew your registration monthly by emailig Vandy at CreativeCommunitySpace@gmail.com or speaking to her directly  on or before the 2nd day of the current session. \nCost is $48/3-week session\, materials fee may be required depending on projects chosen by the group. \nEpping students will be picked up at school and walked down to the Arts Center by the Creative Community Space group leader.  Students should bring a snack to eat before we begin Art Club activities. Homeschooled students or students coming from other school districts should arrive at Creative Community Space by 3:40 (and eat a snack before they come) \nYou will find the registration form at the link below.  Upon receiving your registration & payment for an Epping Elementary Student we will email you a “Walkers’ Release”  before your first session that will allow us to pick your child up at school. \n*Please note:  We generally follow the SAU 14 school calendar. \nRegistration Deadline: ADVANCED REGISTRATION FOR FEBRUARY IS HIGHLY ENCOURAGED.   Please invite your child/youth’s friend to join Art Club. \nCancelation Policy:  Advanced registration can be refunded in full by January 31st for the 1st Art Club session of the new year.  Credit is given for a future activity or art club if cancelation is after Jan 31\, 2024. No refunds after the 3-week session has begun.   \nRegistration deadlines for each session follow the above protocol.  The deadline is 2 weeks before a session begins.  Always feel free to email us and ask if there is space if the deadline has passed. \nMeeting space:  We will be meeting in the Art Barn with the door open for fresh air flow until weather becomes prohibitive\, students should dress appropriately.  After October\, Art Club will meet in the indoor Gathering Space. \nDuring classes and Open Art at Creative Community Space masks are optional. \nFALL 2023 MEETING DATES *these will shift if there are snow days or other cancelations. \n \n\nSeptember: 13\, 20\, 27  THIS SESSION IS FULL\n\nOctober: 4\, 11\, 18  THIS SESSION IS FULL\n\nOctober: 25\, November 1\, 8  THIS SESSION IS FULL *we have space for 1 non-walker (ie child driven by parent)\n\nNovember: 15\, (no school 22) 29\, December 6 THIS SESSION IS FULL *we have space for 1 non-walker (ie child driven by parent)\n\nClosed until February 7\, 2024\n\nSession 5  \nFebruary 7\, 14\, 21\, 2024  (Pay in person on the 14th for Session 6) THIS SESSION FULL for EES walkers.        (two spots left for children driven by parent – email for info) \nSession 6  (Feb. 28th no school) March 6\, 13\, 20\, 2024 (Pay in person on the 13th for Session 7) THIS SESSION IS FULL for EES walkers. (one spot left for a child driven by a parent- email for info.) \nSession 7  \nMarch 27\, April 3 & 10\, 2024 (Pay in person on the 3rd for Session 8)  THIS SESSION IS FULL for EES walkers. Parents should determine that they can follow instructions\, work somewhat independently and use scissors.
