SUMMARY:Middle School Art Club Grades 6-8!
DESCRIPTION:New Group! Come create the future! \n        \nCome create your way!  Middle School Art Club is a social art group that is full of choice!  Students are shown tools and techniques and given some examples of the ways they are used and can then explore their own creativity.  The group is also shown examples of how art is powerful!  This feeds their creative self-esteem as they create for self-expression. \nPlease reach out if you have questions about this group!  CreativeCommunitySpace@gmail.com \nStudents walk down from the Epping Middle School on their own- to arrive at the Art Center around 2:30.  (Vandy will walk them down the first time – and again if requested) \nStudents from districts other than Epping should be dropped off by 2:40. \nThis is a new group. We will adjust things as needed to meet the members’ needs. \nYou may pay by the session or for the full semester \nTuesdays 2:30 -4:00 \nSession 1 \nSept 10\, 17\, 24 (pay for session 2)\, Oct 1 \nSession 2  \nOctober 8\, 15\, 22 (pay for session 3)\, 29 \nSession 3 \nNovember  (11/5 election day no club)12\, 19\, 26 (pay for session 4)\, Dec. 3 \nSession 4 \nDecember 10\, 17 (no school 24th & 31) January 7th & 14th \nMore dates will be added for the New Year \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:Did you make ceramics at a Creative Community Space class or event?  Come on this evening to paint on your glaze so we can fire it again and make it a functional ceramic piece for you.  You pay a $12.50 studio fee. Glaze is then $3.50/ pound of clay used. This includes your second firing to make your creation a functional ceramic piece. \nThis is an All Ages event. Drop in no registration needed. \n*Open Art is Free to Members of Creative Community Space\, they only pay the $3.50 materials fee on clay and glaze nights- see our website for membership details. \nFirst come/first serve for spaces.  Cash is preferred but cards are accepted. \n*Studio fees increased from $12.00 to $12.50 and glaze and clay costs increased from $3.00 to $3.50 on October 1\, 2024. \nMasks are optional\, this is a no-judgment zone!!!
