DESCRIPTION:Come play with clay!  We will make clay animals. Learn how to use clay tools and the techniques to make small clay sculptures.  When you finish your 2 animals\, you will leave them at the art center so they can dry and then be cooked in the kiln and made into ceramic.  Later\, you can pick up your sculptures and either 1. paint them with acrylics at home – instructions will be included\, or 2. come to Open Art Glaze night with a parent  (studio fees apply) and glaze your ceramic sculptures. See the website calendar\, Tuesdays\, to find a Glaze night that fits your schedule. \nThis is a 1 morning\, 2 1/2 hour workshop. \nGrades 1 – 3 or age equivalent – parents can decide if their child going into 1st or going into 4th attends this workshop. \nInstruction = $40.00 \nMaterials = $5.00 \nTotal = $45.00 \nRegistration Deadline Extended: June 14th. No cancellation refunds after 6/4. \nSpace is limited. Register soon! \nThese are just some examples. They have been fired and are waiting for paint or glaze.  \n
