SUMMARY:Home School grades 1-3 Art Sampler with Clay!
DESCRIPTION:Printmaking\n				\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n		\n\nThis Art Sampler class for grades 1-3 or age equivalent will begin with clay! We will learn the basic clay forms and then make a project of our choice using the learned clay construction techniques.  1 week \nPrintmaking! We will make our own printing blocks with a variety of materials. We will also print with found objects and objects in nature. 2 weeks \nClay continued…on this day we will paint our clay sculpture with acrylic paints. \nFinally\, we will finish up with collage!  Collage isn’t just cutting up magazines; it is about seeing the possibilities through the combination of existing images as well as making your own. College is a visual way to tell a story. \nWe will focus on learning goals and FUN! \nLearning Goals: Understanding tools\, materials\, and techniques\, and how to use them\, for creating Clay Sculpture\, Prints\, Acrylic Sculpture Painting\, and Collaged pieces\, with related vocabulary. \nArt Principles: Balance\, Proportion\, Emphasis\, Unity/Variety\, Harmony\nArt Elements: Shape\, Texture\, Color.\nThis is a 6-week Class Session for 1 hour each day from 11 – 12:00 on Tuesdays. \nThe instruction cost is: $114.00 + $20.00 for materials. The total is $134.00 \nRegistration Deadline: September 19th.  We need 5 students to run the class. DESCRIPTION:THIS CLUB IS ON HOLD UNTIL WE HAVE 5 STUDENTS TO START IT. Please email us: CreativeCommunitySpace@gmail.com to get on the waiting list for a future start date. Thank You. \n  \nCome create your way!  Middle School Art Club is a social art group that is full of choice!  Students are shown tools and techniques and given some examples of the ways they are used and can then explore their own creativity.  The group is also shown examples of how art is powerful!  This feeds their creative self-esteem as they create for self-expression. \nPlease reach out if you have questions about this group!  CreativeCommunitySpace@gmail.com \nStudents walk down from the Epping Middle School on their own- to arrive at the Art Center around 2:30.  (Vandy will walk them down the first time – and again if requested) \nStudents from districts other than Epping should be dropped off by 2:40. \nREGISTRATION: If your student would like to join in the middle of a session (session = 4 meetings) please reach out by email.  This group has rolling admission – joining during a session is not a problem. \nYou may pay by the session or for the full semester and receive a discount. \nIf you are registering for one session at a time you must renew your registration monthly by emailing Vandy at CreativeCommunitySpace@gmail.com or speaking to her directly on or before the third day of the current session so your child’s spot isn’t filled by someone else. \nYou will find the registration form at the link below. \n*Please note   We follow the Epping SAU 14 school calendar for days off/snow days. \nThere will be 1 make-up day offered/semester for Art Club days that may have been missed due to snow/school cancellation or teacher illness. \nAll dates that we meet are listed here. SUMMARY:Open Art Clay Night!!!
DESCRIPTION:Drop-in and create.  This is an Open Art session with clay. These sessions are available twice a month for a $14.00 studio  fee each night.  Basic clay instruction on clay hand-building and tool usage will be provided. (sorry no wheels)  Your fee is your studio fee\, clay can be purchased for $5.00/ pound.  The clay fee includes the first firing in the kiln (bisque fire).  Later come to a Glaze Night. You pay a studio fee of $14.00. Your glaze fee is $5.00/pound of clay used. On this day your glaze fee will include glaze and glaze firing in the kiln to create your functional ceramic piece. This is drop-in first\, come/first serve for spaces.  Cash is preferred but cards are accepted. \n*********WE NOW HAVE CLAY NIGHT 2 WEEKS IN A ROW SO YOU HAVE MORE TIME TO WORK ON A PROJECT!!! \nThis is an All Ages Event \n*Open Art is Free to Members of Creative Community Space\, they only pay the $5.00 \nmaterials fee/pound on clay and glaze nights- see our website for membership details. \nMasks are optional\, this is a no-judgment zone! \n*Studio and material fees increased September 1st.
