SUMMARY:Open Art - Clay Night!!!
DESCRIPTION:  \n  \nDrop-in and create.  This is an Open Art session with clay. These sessions are available twice a month for a $12.00 fee each night.  Basic clay instruction on clay hand-building and tool usage will be provided. (sorry no wheels)  Your fee is your studio fee\, clay can be purchased for $3.00/ pound.  The clay fee includes the first firing in the kiln (bisque fire).  Later come to a Glaze Day. You pay a studio fee of $12.00. Your glaze fee is $3.00/pound of clay used. On this day your glaze fee will include glaze and glaze firing in the kiln to create your functional ceramic piece. This is drop-in first\, come/first serve for spaces.  Cash is preferred but cards are accepted. \n*********WE NOW HAVE CLAY NIGHT 2 WEEKS IN A ROW SO YOU HAVE MORE TIME TO WORK ON A PROJECT!!! \nThis is an All Ages Event \n*Open Art is Free to Members of Creative Community Space\, they only pay the $3.00 materials fee/pound on clay and glaze nights- see our website for membership details. \nAs winter illnesses develop Masks are optional\, this is a no-judgment zone!

DESCRIPTION:                   \nDid you make ceramics at a Creative Community Space class or event?  Come on this evening to paint on your glaze so we can fire it again and make it a functional ceramic piece for you.  You pay a $12.00 studio fee. DESCRIPTION:  \n  \nDrop-in and create.  This is an Open Art session with clay. These sessions are available twice a month for a $12.00 fee each night.  Basic clay instruction on clay hand-building and tool usage will be provided. (sorry no wheels)  Your fee is your studio fee\, clay can be purchased for $3.00/ pound.  The clay fee includes the first firing in the kiln (bisque fire).  Later come to a Glaze Day. You pay a studio fee of $12.00. Your glaze fee is $3.00/pound of clay used. On this day your glaze fee will include glaze and glaze firing in the kiln to create your functional ceramic piece. DESCRIPTION:This Is Puppetry \nEver wonder how those puppets you see on television and in movies are made? In this class\, I teach you the secrets to building your own foam-patterned hand and rod puppet and all the materials\, elements\, and skills that make them look so real and lifelike.  We will also learn the fundamentals of creating a character through the use of color\, texture\, different materials\, and movement\, as well as how to manipulate your puppet to bring your character to life.  These puppets are sewn and covered in fleece using the “Henson” or “Ladder” stitch.  No previous puppetry skills are needed\, (basic hand-sewing skills are helpful – see video links below)  just your imagination and creativity are required. \nLadder Stitch Tutorial\nhttps://youtu.be/c2B_fgEGMlM?si=L-kTe1mzE78fN66G\n\nAdam Kreutinger-Puppet Stitches\n\nhttps://youtu.be/TvmYl2GGbKI?si=acM6RIpFT2KVGXqb\n\n\n\nThis is a 5 day camp from 9-3:30. DESCRIPTION:Come meet other art enthusiasts!   We will experiment with new skills and materials and make projects that express who we sare! \nArt Club for grades 3 -5 or age equivalent\, will meet Mondays from 3:15 – 5:00.  Registration is for 4 weeks of classes which is a “session.”  NEW * NEW * NEW  You may also sign up for a “half-year” and receive a discount. \nIf you are registering for one session at a time you must renew your registration monthly by emailing Vandy at CreativeCommunitySpace@gmail.com or speaking to her directly on or before the third day of the current session so your child’s spot isn’t filled by someone else. \nEpping students will be picked up at school and walked down to the Arts Center by the Creative Community Space group leader.  Students should bring a snack to eat before we begin Art Club activities. Homeschooled students or students coming from other school districts should arrive at Creative Community Space by 3:40 (and eat a snack before they come) \nYou will find the registration form at the link below.  Upon receiving your registration & payment for an Epping Elementary Student we will email you a “Walkers’ Release”  before your first session that will allow us to pick your child up at school. \n*Please note   We generally follow the SAU 14 school calendar for days off/snow days. \nRegistration Deadline: ADVANCED REGISTRATION FOR THE FALL IS HIGHLY ENCOURAGED.   Please invite your child/youth’s friend to join Art Club. \nCancelation Policy:  Advanced registration can be refunded in full by August 28th for the 1st Art Club session of the year.  Credit is given for a future activity or art club if cancelation is on or after Aug. 28th.  \nNo refunds after the 4-week session has begun.   \nIf a refund is requested for a half-year registration the refund will be pro-rated as if you had registered session to session up until the refund date. \nRegistration deadlines for each session follow the above protocol.  The deadline is 2 weeks before a session begins.  Always feel free to email us and ask if there is space if the deadline has passed. \nMeeting space:  We will be meeting in the indoor Gathering Space.
