DESCRIPTION:Come meet other art enthusiasts!   We will experiment with new skills and materials and make projects that express who we are! \nArt Club for grades 1 & 2 or age equivalent. (Kindergarten students can join in January – see bottom of the page) We will meet Wednesdays from 3:15 – 4:15. Registration is for 3 classes – be sure to check the calendar to know when we are meeting.  \n You must renew your registration monthly by emailig Vandy at CreativeCommunitySpace@gmail.com or speaking to her directly  on or before the 2nd day of the current session. \nCost is $48/3-week session\, materials fee may be required depending on projects chosen by the group. \nEpping students will be picked up at school and walked down to the Arts Center by the Creative Community Space group leader.  Students should bring a snack to eat before we begin Art Club activities. Homeschooled students or students coming from other school districts should arrive at Creative Community Space by 3:40 (and eat a snack before they come) \nYou will find the registration form at the link below.  Upon receiving your registration & payment for an Epping Elementary Student we will email you a “Walkers’ Release”  before your first session that will allow us to pick your child up at school. \n*Please note:  We generally follow the SAU 14 school calendar. \nRegistration Deadline: ADVANCED REGISTRATION FOR THE FALL IS HIGHLY ENCOURAGED.   Please invite your child/youth’s friend to join Art Club. \nCancelation Policy:  Advanced registration can be refunded in full by August 30th for the 1st Art Club session of the year.  Credit is given for a future activity or art club if cancelation is after Aug. 30th. DESCRIPTION:  \nDeluxe Sock Puppets!\nThis is not your average run-of-the-mill Sock Puppet class. This class teaches the basics of\ncreating a puppet character\, and all the elements needed to do so.  Students will learn to\nbuild a mouth plate and to use this plate as a foam “skull” for a round head shape\,\nthey will give their puppets a much greater range of motion and movement than an average\nsock puppet. Students will then proceed to create their characters and build their puppets! \nThis is a Saturday Workshop for grades 3-7. DESCRIPTION:The holidays are quickly approaching and if you would like to make ceramic gifts you need to do it during the month of November to assure that they are ready for the gift-giving season. We will be offering clay night during each Open Art of November.  Don’t wait till the last minute.  Ceramic ornaments are just one option they make great gifts and are easy to make.  Make this a hand-made holiday! \nDrop-in and create.  This is an Open Art session with clay. Basic clay instruction on clay hand-building and tool usage will be provided. (sorry no wheels)  Your fee includes 1 pound of clay – additional clay can be purchased for $3.00/ pound.  The fee includes the first firing in the kiln (bisque fire).  Later come to a Glaze Night. Your fee on this day will include glaze and glaze firing in the kiln to create your functional ceramic piece.  Seating is limited so don’t wait till the last minute.  First come/first serve for spaces.  Cash is preferred but cards are accepted.   You can come and glaze your clay items on 11/21 and 11/28 during Santa’s Workshop Clay. \nThis is an All Ages Event \nAs winter illnesses develop Masks are optional\, this is a no-judgment zone! \n*Our Open Art studio fee increased to $12.00 as of October 1st.

SUMMARY:3rd\, 4th and 5th Art Club!!!
DESCRIPTION:                      \n\n\n$96.00 for 4 weeks   \n\n\n\nCome meet other art enthusiasts!   We will experiment with new skills and materials and make projects that express who we are! \nArt Club for grades 3 -5 or age equivalent\, will meet Mondays from 3:15 – 5:00.  Registration is for 4 weeks of classes – be sure to check the calendar to know when we are meeting. \nYou must renew your registration monthly by emailing Vandy at CreativeCommunitySpace@gmail.com or speaking to her directly on or before the third day of the current session.  Cost is $96.00/4-week session\, materials fee may be required depending on projects chosen by the group. \nEpping students will be picked up at school and walked down to the Arts Center by the Creative Community Space group leader.  Students should bring a snack to eat before we begin Art Club activities. Homeschooled students or students coming from other school districts should arrive at Creative Community Space by 3:40 (and eat a snack before they come) \nYou will find the registration form at the link below.  Upon receiving your registration & payment for an Epping Elementary Student we will email you a “Walkers’ Release”  before your first session that will allow us to pick your child up at school. \n*Please note   We generally follow the SAU 14 school calendar for days off/snow days. \nRegistration Deadline: ADVANCED REGISTRATION FOR THE FALL IS HIGHLY ENCOURAGED.   Please invite your child/youth’s friend to join Art Club. \nCancelation Policy:  Advanced registration can be refunded in full by August 28th for the 1st Art Club session of the year.  Credit is given for a future activity or art club if cancelation is on or after Aug. 28th. No refunds after the 4-week session has begun.   \nRegistration deadlines for each session follow the above protocol.  The deadline is 2 weeks before a session begins.  Always feel free to email us and ask if there is space if the deadline has passed. \nMeeting space:  We will be meeting in the Art Barn with the door open for fresh air flow until weather becomes prohibitive\, students should dress appropriately.  After October\, Art Club will meet in the indoor Gathering Space. \nDuring classes and Open Art at Creative Community Space masks are optional. \nFALL 2023 MEETING DATES   *these will shift if there are snow days or other cancelations. \n\nSeptember: 11\, 18\, 25\, October 2   THIS SESSION IS FULL\nOctober (9 no school)\, 16\, 23\, 30 November 6\nNovember 13\, 20\, 27\, December\, 4\nDecember 11\, 18\, (no school 25th & January 1) January 8 (no school 15) & 22nd\n\n2024 dates will appear in late November 2023. \n \n  \n

SUMMARY:Santa's Workshop - Clay
DESCRIPTION:The holidays are quickly approaching and if you would like to make ceramic gifts you need to do it during the month of November to assure that they are ready for the gift-giving season. We will be offering clay night during each Open Art of November.  Don’t wait till the last minute.  Ceramic ornaments are just one option they make great gifts and are easy to make.  Make this a hand-made holiday! \nDrop-in and create.  This is an Open Art session with clay. Basic clay instruction on clay hand-building and tool usage will be provided. (sorry no wheels)  Your fee includes 1 pound of clay – additional clay can be purchased for $3.00/ pound.  The fee includes the first firing in the kiln (bisque fire).  Later come to a Glaze Night. Your fee on this day will include glaze and glaze firing in the kiln to create your functional ceramic piece.  Seating is limited so don’t wait till the last minute.  First come/first serve for spaces.  Cash is preferred but cards are accepted.   You can come and glaze your clay items on 11/21 and 11/28 during Santa’s Workshop Clay. \nThis is an All Ages Event \nAs winter illnesses develop Masks are optional\, this is a no-judgment zone! \n*Our Open Art studio fee increased to $12.00 as of October 1st.
