DESCRIPTION:This class is full. Please email to place your name on our “New Class” list. We will  reach out to you to create an additional class.\nCreativeCommunitySpace@gmail.com\nCome learn about clay! Where it comes from\, how it is used\, and how it can be made into thousands of items.  Over these 5 weeks\, we will focus on learning skills and tool use to create lasting clay pieces. These items will be fired in a kiln\, and then students will paint or glaze them.  If they are glazed\, they will be fired in the kiln again to make a functional ceramic piece.  Projects will vary from specific skill-building to free-choice with skill demonstration. \nThis class is for students in 1st grade through 8th grade or age equivalent. \nClay is a medium that is easy to differentiate for different grade levels. \nThis class will run 5 weeks.  Tuesdays from 11 – 12:15\,  March 24\, 31\, April 7\, 14 and 21. \nWe need a minimum of 5 students to run this class – Maximum of 10. \nWe are an EFA Vendor email for registration instructions: CreativeCommunitySpace@gmail.com \nNo refunds after March 17th. \nCost of class = $100.00 \nMaterials = $25.00 \nTotal =  $125.00 \n\n		\n		\n			\n				\n			\n				\n				raw clay\n				\n			\n				\n			\n				\n				fired bisque\n				\n			\n				\n			\n				\n				painted\n				\n			\n				\n			\n				\n				painted and adorned\n				\n			\n				\n			\n				\n				raw clay\n				\n			\n				\n			\n				\n				glazed\n				\n			\n				\n			\n				\n				carved\n				\n			\n				\n			\n				\n				tea light\n				\n			\n		\n\n
