Fun for kids and adults.  Make a tealight\, treasure box or jack-o-lantern in a pumpkin shape with the final size between a softball and a baseball.   After a week your dry clay pumpkin will be fired in the kiln.  Come back to glaze night and for $12.00 glaze your pumpkin and pick it up before Halloween. \nClass Fee: $25.00 for 1.5 hours \nIncluded in your Class Fee: 1 pound of clay \n1st firing to make your clay into bisque \nReturn:   Check the CCS calendar and come on back for a “Open Art Glaze Night” to paint your piece with glaze. \nYou pay the Open Art Glaze fee.  We fire your piece again to make it a functional ceramic piece. \nor Pick up your piece and paint it at home with acrylic paints as a decorative piece. \nRegistration Deadline:  September 30th. First come/first serve for spaces.  Exact cash is preferred\,  cards are also accepted. \nCovid related information: \nClasses\, Open Art and events are held in our 3-season Art Barn where we can open the barn door for airflow.  During classes and Open Art at Creative Community Space masks are highly recommended. SUMMARY:3-5 Art Club!
DESCRIPTION:Come meet other art enthusiasts!   We will experiment with new skills and materials and make projects that express who we are! \nArt Club for grades 3 -5 or age equivalent\, will meet Wednesdays from 3:15 – 5:00.  Registration is for a month of classes – be sure to check the calendar to know when we are meeting.  You must renew your registration monthly by emailing Vandy at CreativeCommunitySpace@gmail.com or speaking to her directly before the last day of the current session.  Cost is $92.00/4-week session\, materials fee may be required depending on projects chosen by the group. \nEpping students will be picked up at school and walked down to the Arts Center by the Creative Community Space group leader.  Students should bring a snack to eat before we begin Art Club activities. \nYou will find the registration form at the link below.  Upon receiving your registration & payment we will email you a “Walkers’ Release” that will allow us to pick your child up at school. \n*Please note   We generally follow the SAU 14 school calendar for days off/snow days. \nRegistration Deadline:  When 3 students have registered we have a “club.” This is session 2. This session runs October 26\, Nov. 2\, 9\, 16  Please invite your child/youth’s friends to join Art Club. \nCancelation Policy:  If you register and the club is canceled due to lack of participation you will be given a full refund.  No refunds after the 4 week session has begun. \nCovid related information:  Art Club will meet in the indoor Gathering Space as long as it is determined to be safe. \nDuring classes and Open Art at Creative Community Space masks are highly recommended. DESCRIPTION:Creative Community Space creates classes to meet the needs of homeschooled children and youth.  We design classes that are focused on your student’s interests and learning goals.  These classes include: drawing\, painting\, sculpture\, collage\, ceramics\, bookmaking\, printmaking\, origami\, and mixed-media.  We have member artists at Creative Community Space with a wide array of skills and backgrounds. \nThis class is Open to Home Schooled children and youth in the grade equvalent of 5th -8th.  We will be focusing on drawing and sculpture/ceramics for 8 weeks with the addition of a painting intro if there is time. \nPlease do not register directly until you have reached out by email.
