DESCRIPTION:Drop-in and create.  This is an Open Art session with clay. These sessions are available twice a month for a $12.50 fee each night.  Basic clay instruction on clay hand-building and tool usage will be provided. (sorry no wheels)  Your fee is your studio fee\, clay can be purchased for $3.50/ pound.  The clay fee includes the first firing in the kiln (bisque fire).  Later come to a Glaze Day. You pay a studio fee of $12.50. Your glaze fee is $3.50/pound of clay used. On this day your glaze fee will include glaze and glaze firing in the kiln to create your functional ceramic piece. DESCRIPTION:New Group! Come create the future! \n        \nCome create your way!  Middle School Art Club is a social art group that is full of choice!  Students are shown tools and techniques and given some examples of the ways they are used and can then explore their own creativity.  The group is also shown examples of how art is powerful!  This feeds their creative self-esteem as they create for self-expression. \nPlease reach out if you have questions about this group!  CreativeCommunitySpace@gmail.com \nStudents walk down from the Epping Middle School on their own- to arrive at the Art Center around 2:30.  (Vandy will walk them down the first time – and again if requested) \nStudents from districts other than Epping should be dropped off by 2:40. \nThis is a new group. DESCRIPTION:On this night we will offer a seasonal activity or gift making-opportunity \n\,  and also allow those with clay gifts to glaze them in time for the holidays. \nDrop-in and get creative!  Explore our materials\, try our example project\, or bring your own project. Make it a fun night out with friends! Come and meet other creatives!   Basic materials are included in your $12.50 studio fee\, some items are available for small additional fees. \n*Open Art is free to members of Creative Community Space – see the website for membership information. \n*Studio fees increased from $12.00 to $12.50 on October 1\, 2024. \nFirst come/first serve for spaces.  Exact cash is preferred\,  cards are also accepted. \n\na variety of materials are available to explore during Open Art.\nClay and glazing are on separate nights\, see the website calendar on Tuesdays.\n\n*Masks are optional this is a no-judgement zone! \n

SUMMARY:Santa's Clay Workshop!!!
DESCRIPTION:The holidays are quickly approaching and if you would like to make ceramic gifts you need to do it during the month of November to assure that they are ready for the gift-giving season. We will be offering clay night during each Open Art of November.  Don’t wait till the last minute.  Ceramic ornaments are just one option they make great gifts and are easy to make.  Make this a hand-made holiday! \nDrop-in and create.  This is an Open Art session with clay. Basic clay instruction on clay hand-building and tool usage will be provided. (sorry no wheels)  Your  studio fee is $12.50\, 1 pound of clay is $3.50 – additional clay can be purchased for $3.50/ pound.  The clay fee includes the first firing in the kiln (bisque fire).  Later come to a Glaze Night. Your studio fee is $12.50 on this day. Your glaze fee will be $3.50 for each pound of clay used. Your piecewill be glaze fired in the kiln to create your functional ceramic piece.  Seating is limited so don’t wait till the last minute.  First come/first serve for spaces.  Cash is preferred but cards are accepted.   You can come and glaze your clay items on 11/19 and 11/26 during Santa’s Workshop Clay Night. \nThis is an All Ages Event \nAs winter illnesses develop Masks are optional\, this is a no-judgment zone! \n*Our Open Art studio fee increased to $12.50 as of October 1st\, the clay fee increased to $3.50/pound. \n  \n
