SUMMARY:Open Art - Clay Night!
DESCRIPTION:Drop-in and create.  This is an Open Art session with clay. These sessions are available twice a month for a $12.50 fee each night.  Basic clay instruction on clay hand-building and tool usage will be provided. (sorry no wheels)  Your fee is your studio fee\, clay can be purchased for $3.50/ pound.  The clay fee includes the first firing in the kiln (bisque fire).  Later come to a Glaze Day. You pay a studio fee of $12.50. Your glaze fee is $3.50/pound of clay used. On this day your glaze fee will include glaze and glaze firing in the kiln to create your functional ceramic piece. SUMMARY:Homeschool - Sculpture Class
DESCRIPTION:Come explore different types of sculpture!  We will work with paper and learn basic origami\, we will work with clay to make small figures and we will work with foamboard to construct our own abstract free-standing sculpture. We will paint or decorate our creations with markers.  This is a great introduction to sculpture class and students will have skills they can continue to use outside of this class. \nWe will focus on learning goals and FUN! \n\n\n\n\nLearning topics: Origami history\, Clay components\, Art Principles: Balance\, Proportion\, Emphasis\, Unity/Variety\, Harmony\nArt Elements: Shape\, Texture\, Color. DESCRIPTION:Come explore different types of sculpture!  We will work with paper and learn basic origami\, we will work with clay to make small figures and we will work with foamboard to construct our own abstract free-standing sculpture. DESCRIPTION:The Art Explorers Club is supportive of the artistic interests of individuals with developmental disabilities.  Art Explorers Club members are presented with a project which they can make or they can experiment with the materials.  This group is open to teens and adults with their support person(s). \nWe meet twice a month on the first and third Wednesdays. SUMMARY:Homeschool - Sculpture Class
DESCRIPTION:Come explore different types of sculpture!  We will work with paper and learn basic origami\, we will work with clay to make small figures and we will work with foamboard to construct our own abstract free-standing sculpture. We will paint or decorate our creations with markers.  This is a great introduction to sculpture class and students will have skills they can continue to use outside of this class. \nWe will focus on learning goals and FUN! \n\n\n\n\nLearning topics: Origami history\, Clay components\, Art Principles: Balance\, Proportion\, Emphasis\, Unity/Variety\, Harmony\nArt Elements: Shape\, Texture\, Color. SUMMARY:Open Art - Clay Night!
DESCRIPTION:Drop-in and create.  This is an Open Art session with clay. These sessions are available twice a month for a $12.50 fee each night.  Basic clay instruction on clay hand-building and tool usage will be provided. (sorry no wheels)  Your fee is your studio fee\, clay can be purchased for $3.50/ pound.  The clay fee includes the first firing in the kiln (bisque fire).  Later come to a Glaze Day. You pay a studio fee of $12.50. Your glaze fee is $3.50/pound of clay used. On this day your glaze fee will include glaze and glaze firing in the kiln to create your functional ceramic piece. This is drop-in first\, come/first serve for spaces.  Cash is preferred but cards are accepted. \n*********WE NOW HAVE CLAY NIGHT 2 WEEKS IN A ROW SO YOU HAVE MORE TIME TO WORK ON A PROJECT!!! \nThis is an All Ages Event \n*prices increase October 1st from $12.00 studio fee to $12.50 and $3.00/pound of clay to $3.50 \n*Open Art is Free to Members of Creative Community Space\, they only pay the $3.50 materials fee/pound on clay and glaze nights- see our website for membership details. \nAs winter illnesses develop Masks are optional\, this is a no-judgment zone! \n

SUMMARY:K\, 1 & 2 Art Club!
DESCRIPTION:We need 5 students to start this Art Club. \nCome meet other art enthusiasts!   We will experiment with new skills and materials and make projects that express who we are! \nArt Club for grades K\, 1 & 2 or age equivalent. We will meet Thursdays from 3:15 – 4:15. Registration is for 4 classes – be sure to check the calendar to know when we are meeting.  \nYou must renew your registration monthly by emailing Vandy at CreativeCommunitySpace@gmail.com or speaking to her directly  on or before the 3rd day of the current session. \nNEW * NEW * NEW \nRegistration is for 4 classes = a session   \nCost is $72/4week session                                      \nOR \nRegister for the semester and receive a discount \nThe Semester is $340/ 5 sessions \nEpping students will be picked up at school and walked down to the Arts Center by the Creative Community Space group leader.  Students should bring a snack to eat before we begin Art Club activities. Homeschooled students or students coming from other school districts should arrive at Creative Community Space by 3:40 (and eat a snack before they come) \nYou will find the registration form at the link below.  Upon receiving your registration & payment for an Epping Elementary Student we will email you a  “Welcome Letter” and “Walkers’ Release”  before your first session that will allow us to pick your child up at school.  If your child does not attend Epping Elementary please email me and let me know so I can send you the proper directions. \n*Please note:  We generally follow the SAU 14 school calendar. \nRegistration Deadline: ADVANCED REGISTRATION FOR JANUARY IS HIGHLY ENCOURAGED.   Please invite your child/youth’s friend to join Art Club. \nCancelation Policy:  Advanced registration can be refunded in full by December 26\, 2024 for the 1st Art Club session of the year.  Credit is given for a future activity or art club if cancelation is after December 26\, 2024. No refunds after the 4-week session has begun.   \nRegistration deadlines for each session follow the above protocol.  The deadline is 2 weeks before a session begins.  Always feel free to email us and ask if there is space if the deadline has passed. \nMeeting space:  We will be meeting in the indoor Gathering Space. \nDuring classes and Open Art at Creative Community Space masks are optional. \nWinter 2024  = If there are events causing Art Club to be canceled (snow days/students not at school\, teacher illness\, half-day cancellations etc) There will be one makeup day offered on a Saturday/semester.  \n \nSession 1 \n\nJanuary 9\, 16\, 23- (pay in person for session 2)\, 30\n\nSession 2  \n\nFebruary 6\, 13\, 20 – (pay in person for session 3)\, (2/27 Holiday)\, March 6th\n\nSession 3 \n\nMarch 13\, 20\, 27 – (pay in person for session 4)\, April 3rd\n\nSession 4 \n\nApril 10\, 17\, 24 – (pay in person for session 5)\, (5/1 Holiday)\, May 8th\n\nSession 5 \n\nMay 15\, 22\, 29 June 5th End of Year Party!\n\n  \n.
