DESCRIPTION:Come meet other art enthusiasts!   We will learn skills\, find our artistic voices\, learn about the power of art and look for ways to use our power to support causes we feel are important! \nArt Club for grades 3 – 5 or age equivalent\, will meet Mondays from 3:30 – 5:30. Registration is for a month of classes – be sure to check the calendar to know when we are meeting. You may register for 1 or 2 hours for each Monday and you must renew your registration monthly by emailing Vandy at AreaArts@yahoo.com.  Cost is $15/hour\, materials fee may be required depending on projects chosen by the group.

Stories told can be true-life tales\, tall tales\, folk tales\, fairy tales\, spooky stories\, the list can go on and on!  Never told a story before?  You are welcome to sit in and listen and then tell at another time if you’d like. This story swap is a drop-in session\, no cost\, bring your own water bottle.  Facilitators are Vandy Leigh and Debra Ballou who have been telling stories professionally for over 20 years. Come have a listen! Come tell a tale!\n\nThis event happens the last Friday of each month from 7:00-9:00 PM\, Free- drop in!\n(We will not meet Nov. 29th and Dec. 27 due to the holidays – we may choose another evening of the month for those months)

DESCRIPTION:If you have ever said “I CAN’T DRAW!” then this class is for you.  If you are an adult still drawing stick figures and really would like to progress\, then take this class.  Drawing isn’t only for the “talented.”  You need to be taught how to do it\, the same way you are taught a musical instrument or how to play a sport.  I will take you back to the basics\, the things they didn’t teach you in elementary school but should have.  This is a no-pressure\, no judgment class. Come learn to draw it’s not too late! \n
