DESCRIPTION:Come have fun exploring new art materials and techniques! Meet other young artists and find your favorite mediums.  We will paint\, sculpt\, draw\, make 3 dimensional art\, prints\, and mixed media pieces. Come see what you can do! \nArt Club for grades 3 -5 or age equivalent\, will meet Mondays from 3:15 – 5:00.  Registration is for 4 weeks of classes which is a “session.” \nYou may also sign up for a “semester\,”/ half year\, and receive a discount. \nIf you are registering for one session at a time you must renew your registration monthly by emailing Vandy at CreativeCommunitySpace@gmail.com or speaking to her directly on or before the third day of the current session so your child’s spot isn’t filled by someone else. \nEpping students will be picked up at school and walked down to the Arts Center by the Creative Community Space group leader.  Students should bring a snack to eat before we begin Art Club activities. SUMMARY:Open Art Clay Night!!!
DESCRIPTION:Drop-in and create.  This is an Open Art session with clay. These sessions are available twice a month for a $14.00 studio  fee each night.  Basic clay instruction on clay hand-building and tool usage will be provided. (sorry no wheels)  Your fee is your studio fee\, clay can be purchased for $5.00/ pound.  The clay fee includes the first firing in the kiln (bisque fire).  Later come to a Glaze Night. You pay a studio fee of $14.00. Your glaze fee is $5.00/pound of clay used. On this day your glaze fee will include glaze and glaze firing in the kiln to create your functional ceramic piece. DESCRIPTION:Deluxe Sock Puppets! For Adults!\nThis is not your average run-of-the-mill Sock Puppet class. This class teaches the basics of\ncreating a puppet character and all the elements needed to do so.  Students will learn to\nbuild a mouth plate and to use this plate as a foam “skull” for a round head shape\,\nthey will give their puppets a much greater range of motion and movement than an average\nsock puppet. Homeschooled students or students coming from other school districts should arrive at Creative Community Space by 3:40 (and eat a snack before they come) \nYou will find the registration form at the link below.  Upon receiving your registration & payment for an Epping Elementary Student we will email you a “Walkers’ Release”  before your first session that will allow us to pick your child up at school. \n*Please note:  We follow the SAU 14 school calendar. \nRegistration Deadline: ADVANCED REGISTRATION FOR FALL IS HIGHLY ENCOURAGED.  Please invite your child/youth’s friend to join Art Club. \nCancelation Policy:  Advanced registration can be refunded in full by August 28th for the 1st Art Club session of the year.  Credit is given for a future activity or art club if cancelation is on or after Aug. 28th. \nNo refunds after the 4-week session has begun.   \nIf a refund is requested for a half-year registration the refund will be pro-rated as if you had registered session to session up until the refund date. \nRegistration deadlines for each session follow the above protocol.  The deadline is 2 weeks before a session begins.  Always feel free to email us and ask if there is space if the deadline has passed. \nThere will be 1 make-up day offered/semester for Art Club days that may have been missed due to snow/school cancellation or teacher illness. \nMeeting space:  Art Club will meet in the indoor Gathering Space. \nDuring classes and Open Art at Creative Community Space masks are optional. \nFALL 2025 MEETING DATES  \nSemester 1 = Sessions 1-4 \nSession 1  Sept. 10\, 17\, 24 October 1   (Pay Sept. 24 for Session 2) \nSession 2  Oct. 8\,15\, 22\, 29 (Pay October 22 for Session 3) \nSession 3  Nov. 5\, 12\, 19 December 3  (Pay November 19 for Session 4 = $39.00 for 2 days) \nSession 4  Dec. 10 & 17  Party!  (Pay December 17 for Session 5) \n*Kindergarteners can join Thursday’s K\, 1 & 2 Art Club in January!!!

SUMMARY:Open Art Clay Night!!!
DESCRIPTION:Drop-in and create.  This is an Open Art session with clay. These sessions are available twice a month for a $14.00 studio  fee each night.  Basic clay instruction on clay hand-building and tool usage will be provided. (sorry no wheels)  Your fee is your studio fee\, clay can be purchased for $5.00/ pound.  The clay fee includes the first firing in the kiln (bisque fire).  Later come to a Glaze Night. You pay a studio fee of $14.00. Your glaze fee is $5.00/pound of clay used. On this day your glaze fee will include glaze and glaze firing in the kiln to create your functional ceramic piece. This is drop-in first\, come/first serve for spaces.  Cash is preferred but cards are accepted. \n*********WE NOW HAVE CLAY NIGHT 2 WEEKS IN A ROW SO YOU HAVE MORE TIME TO WORK ON A PROJECT!!! \nThis is an All Ages Event \n*Open Art is Free to Members of Creative Community Space\, they only pay the $5.00 \nmaterials fee/pound on clay and glaze nights- see our website for membership details. \nMasks are optional\, this is a no-judgment zone! \n*Studio and material fees increased September 1st.
