What We Do

You can give a class or performance!

Creative Community Space (CCS) provides a space that can be rented by members of the community for their creative pursuits. This space consists of one room which can accommodate 25 people with tables and chairs, 50 people with chairs only. We also offer 3 studios for rent on an annual basis with a lease. Teaching Members can teach a class, hold a gathering, put on a performance, there are lots of possibilities. If you are eager to be part of the creative community but aren’t sure how to get started we can give you ideas and we offer mentoring for those who would like to teach but haven’t done so before- just email us!

If you haven’t taught before but are interested in teaching as a way to earn money to further your artistic pursuits, contact us. We have a teaching artist mentor program.

You can attend a class or performance!

Creative Community Space Teaching Artists offer classes and performances that are open to the public. Visit the calendar on this website and choose a class or performance to read more about the opportunity. When you choose to register for a class or get more information from the Teaching Artist hosting it, you will be given that individual’s email address or taken off our site to that individual’s website or Facebook page.

What We Don’t Do

Creative Community Space is not an art school. We don’t hire teachers and we don’t do background screening on teachers who rent our space. Those taking classes or those signing their children up for classes are encouraged to get references from, or do research about, teachers they don’t know.
