This clay workshop will focus on creating valentines to give to friends, family, or simply keepsakes for yourself. The projects will explore various clay techniques …use of slabs in conjunction with texture, molding, and coil construction. At the end of this workshop, you will have acquired new skills that you can use in future clay projects. The construction aspect of this project will be for two and a half hours. You will have 3 pounds of clay from which to create, extra time will be provided if needed. The cost of this workshop is $56.00 To complete this project the second phase would be to glaze your creations at one of the Open Art nights that are offered throughout the month of January or on February 7 (to be ready for Valentines Day).

Glazing of your projects will take place at Open Art which happens on Tuesdays (see the website calendar).  Your cost on Tuesday’s Open Art Night for glazing will be $16.00. (You do not pay the Open Art fee listed on the website)  This covers your glaze for 3 pounds of clay, glaze firing and studio fee.
