Deluxe Sock Puppets!
This is not your average run-of-the-mill Sock Puppet class. This class teaches the basics of
creating a puppet character, and all the elements needed to do so. Then students will learn to
build a mouth plate and by using this plate as well as a foam “skull” for a round head shape,
they will give their puppets a much greater range of motion and movement than an average
sock puppet. Students will then proceed to create their characters and build their puppets!

This is an “After School” Workshop for grades 3-7.

“Transportation” Vandy Leigh will pick students up after school at Epping Elementary school and walk them down to the art center.  Middle School students are asked to walk down to Creative Community Space on their own.  All youth not attending Epping schools should arrive at Creative Community Space no later than 3:30.

Registration Deadline:   REGISTRATION DEADLINE EXTENDED TO MAY 9th.  Cancelations on or before April 30th receive full refund. Cancelations after April 30th receive a credit for a different class.

Covid-related information:  Art Club will meet in the indoor Gathering Space as long as it is determined to be safe.

During classes and Open Art at Creative Community Space masks are highly recommended. Vaccination for Covid is highly recommended.

Before attending a class or gathering you should be able to answer “No” to these questions.
