Deluxe Sock Puppets: (Age 8 and up)

This is an advanced sock puppet class.  This class begins with an introduction to puppetry and creating a puppet character, as well as all of the elements needed to do so.  Then students will learn to build a mouth plate and by using this plate as well as some foam for a “skull”, they will give their sock puppets a wonderful shape and much greater range of motion and movement than an average sock puppet.  Students will then proceed to create their characters and build their puppets.

This is a wildly popular class and space is limited so register early!

Students from Epping Elementary School will be picked up after school and walked down to the Art Center.

Students driving from other areas need to arrive by 3:30 for this special workshop.

We need at least 6 students to run this class – please tell your children’s friends!
