This Art Sampler class for grades 1-3 or age equivalent will begin with clay! We will learn the basic clay forms and then make a project of our choice using the learned clay construction techniques.  1 week

Printmaking! We will make our own printing blocks with a variety of materials. We will also print with found objects and objects in nature. 2 weeks

Clay continued…on this day we will paint our clay sculpture with acrylic paints.

Finally, we will finish up with collage!  Collage isn’t just cutting up magazines; it is about seeing the possibilities through the combination of existing images as well as making your own. College is a visual way to tell a story.

We will focus on learning goals and FUN!

Learning Goals: Understanding tools, materials, and techniques, and how to use them, for creating Clay Sculpture, Prints, Acrylic Sculpture Painting, and Collaged pieces, with related vocabulary.

This is a 6-week Class Session for 1 hour each day from 11 – 12:00 on Tuesdays.

The instruction cost is: $114.00 + $20.00 for materials. The total is $134.00

Registration Deadline: September 19th.  We need 5 students to run the class. We can accommodate 12.
