Come make some 3D sculpture! Many people think about Art in terms of drawing and painting, but Art that is 3 dimensional is a lot of fun to make.  We will begin with basic Origami shapes to learn about symmetry, unity, and balance. In week 2, we will make an assemblage using found items. In week 3, we will make abstract foam sculptures. In weeks 4 & 5, we will create freeform sculpture with items of choice added to a base, and finish any outstanding projects.

Dates: January 20 & 27, February 3, 10 & 17.

Grades 2 – up or age equivalent. This class adapts easily to a child’s age.
