Come play with clay!  We will make clay animals. Learn how to use clay tools and the techniques to make small clay sculptures.  When you finish your 2 animals, you will leave them at the art center so they can dry and then be cooked in the kiln and made into ceramic.  Later, you can pick up your sculptures and either 1. paint them with acrylics at home – instructions will be included, or 2. come to Open Art Glaze night with a parent  (studio fees apply) and glaze your ceramic sculptures. This is a 1 afternoon, 2 1/2 hour workshop.

Grades 4 – 6 or age equivalent – parents can decide if their child going into 4th or going into 7th attends this workshop.
