Middle School Art Club!

Middle School Art Club is a social and creative gathering to explore art materials and techniques sessions will be planned with club members’ input. We will learn about the power of art and the ways we can use art to make a difference in the world.
Art Club for grades 6-8 or age equivalent, will meet Thursdays from 2:30 – 4:00. Registration is for a month of classes – be sure to check the calendar to know when we are meeting. You must renew your registration monthly by emailing Vandy at CreativeCommunitySpace@gmail.com or speaking to her directly before the last day of the current session. Cost is $88.00/4-week session, materials fee may be required depending on projects chosen by the group.
Epping Middle School Students can walk on the public sidewalks down to the Arts Center, Creative Community Space. Students should bring a snack to eat before we begin Art Club activities.
You will find the registration form at the link below. Upon receiving your registration & payment we will email you a “Walkers’ Release” that will allow your child to walk from school.
*Please note We generally follow the SAU 14 school calendar for days off/snow days.
Registration Deadline: Deadline for the first 4 weeks is: When 3 students have registered we have a “club.” You will then be notified when the first Art Club meeting will be. Please invite your child/youth’s friend to join Art Club.
Cancelation Policy: If you register and the club is canceled due to lack of participation you will be given a full refund. No refunds after the 4 week session has begun.
Covid related information: We will be meeting in the Art Barn with the door open for fresh air flow until the end of October (or as long as feasible) students should dress appropriately. After October Art Club will meet in the indoor Gathering Space as long as it is determined to be safe.
During classes and Open Art at Creative Community Space masks are highly recommended. Vaccination for Covid is highly recommended.
Before attending a class or gathering you should be able to answer “No” to these questions.
Have you tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 10 days? Are you currently awaiting results from a COVID-19 test? Have you been diagnosed with COVID-19 by a licensed healthcare provider (for example, a doctor, nurse, pharmacist, or other) in the past 10 days? Have you been told that you are suspected to have COVID-19 by a licensed healthcare provider in the past 10 days? Have you been in direct with a person who currently has Covid? If you answer “Yes” to any of these questions or are feeling ill, please stay home. We’d love to see you another time!
